Default Bought a stillen 350z

Never owned import muscle before but I sold an 04 Cobra and bought an 05 350z with the stage 2 stillen, headers, and cat back exhaust. Trying to get to 400 horsepower is it possible ? My first step I figure will be to go to stage 4 and trash the cats. Where will this take me and where do I go next? Any help will be apreciated I know nothing about these cars but I feel like I got a good deal with a decent starting point.

you are on a bad platform if you want 400hp. 350 is a safe bet with the right mods on that SC.

good luck

Any forced induction kit made for the car but the Stillen SC it has the least amount of power potential for these cars go to the forced induction section of the forum and start reading.

Can you take a picture of under your hood? Just want to confirm you know what you bought since you don't seem to know much about the cars (I'm just quoting you).

What does it put down now? I can only assume the original owner had dyno sheets of the car after the mods were installed.

you should have done more research before buying that car if u want 400whp...event the stage 4 is lacking that by alot...the stillen kit is the weakest kit you can buy for a z and has no real upgradability and no way to tune it or anything like that..Its garbage and now you will realize it..Sorry to hear you didnt do more research..be happy with the maybe 350whp you may be able to get to with that kit

The good thing about the stillen is that it is easy to remove and sell.

The two good things with the Stillen kit is that is is very safe and it sounds cool, but as for power - not so much.

And CARB legal, which is important in Cali.

He lives in Kentucky so ditch the Stillen get a twin turbo kit run 7-8psi and 400whp. Or enjoy the car as it is I sure its fairly fast, I know guys that drive Stillen SC cars and love them. As far as upgrading I have read a few guys that tried upgrading them to stage 4 said they spent a ton of $$$$ for very little gains.

Word up. I like the sound of roots type, but if you are looking for supercharger with power, I would go vortech, which I am currently on the prowl for right now lol. I hate seeing a good deal on a used vortech kit and then it gets snatched up by some other yahoo.

stillen said it is 1000 to go up to the stage 4 and delete the cats is it worth it. If I pull the charger and go twins or vortech is the stillen intercooler usable or will I need to upgrade that also.

Hood/hood scope required for the Stillen looks like poo. Otherwise, congrats on your car How do you like it compared to your Terminator stang?
