Default 2006 350Z Roadster Interior Finishes

I love my 350Z roadster that I bought new in 06, I have only one problem and was wondering if others have experienced it and dealt with it. The interior finishes on some of the plastic dash components, glove box door and surrounding panels, the arm rest, door handle inserts, etc. have a black coating that scratches very easily. I would like to refinish these pieces and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, refinished them and if they removed the pieces to refinish them and how difficult it was. I also need to know what type of paint to use and if there is something better than the original finish.

Welcome. Few if any problems are original. Interior pieces have been refinished with varying results. Look. Read. Study. Its all here.

EDIT: It serves poorly to hide this in the roadster forum. Interior is interior.
