Default Top motors getting old !

Anyone change motors out for top, how much did it run you, and are there any diy's for motors themselves.

bump, still need to get this done, i havent asked how much the dealer would charge to install motors.

Check the DIY section, I don't believe one exists. I would try to find a convertible motor on here used if you can, they run about $100- $200. Maybe you can make a DIY if you're up too it. I don't see it as being a difficult task as it's probably a bolt on and off. I would call up a few dealerships if you decide to go that route (or an interior shop). Make sure to post the rates here as it will be helpful for members here in the future.
