Default Changing up the ZR

So its time to start modding my z, right now she looks like this:

Here is what I will be bringing to the bodyshop to be installed:

Aerosync:

Shine C20:

Stillen:

I also want to add USDM nismo sides, but they are a pita to find and get snatched up quick. Anyone who has a set please PM me, I want em!!
For now they will have to wait, I dont want to hold up the rest.

I am also thinking about shaving the z badges on the fenders, since there wont be any on the front and rear. Taking the car to the shop next weekend, so I'll make up my mind before then.

Gonna update this page as it progresses - I also have some mechanical mods I will add here as well.

One opinion I want to get from the board is about the rear, I have an ARK Grip dual exhaust that I have been waiting on installing, and been thinking about doing a "bumper tuck" kind of mod to the Shine bumper to show off the exhaust. It is an HKS type for anyone who hasnt seen one.

Hope it turns out good. That spoiler looks like it will look sick on the car. To be honest i'm not really feeling those wheels. Waiting for final pics!

Make sure you check out the rear bumper clearance fitment of your new ARK exhaust before painting bumper.

I saw the thread where a few people had the right side tip not line up. But I also talked to a few who had no problems, so I guess we will see.

Right now the exhaust is not installed - waiting on a set of Ultimate Racing ceramic hfcs. I was actually thinking about waiting a little to see if my new motor has no consumption issues (it had about 1400 miles when I garaged it for the winter), just so the dealer doesnt give me any ish about aftermarket performance parts. They didnt bat an eye about getting me a new motor the first time, but you never know.

So it looks like I was able to score a set of USDM nismo sides (thanx for the heads up NismoZR ), but I wont be able to get them until early April.

Maybe I will get the exhaust figured out beforehand since It will be at least a month before I see the sides.

On a sad note, one of the better Z and G tuner shops in my area ATX Motorsports looks to be no more. I went there last weekend and it is empty, and the phone is a constant busy. I never had any work done there (yet, I was hoping this would be the first, with some dyno runs too), but a bunch of people I know have (and some members here) and I always heard great things about the work they did.

I have the same Stillen wing. It got installed on my car yesterday. Cant wait to see how it looks (picking up car tonight after work).

The shop was complaining that the quality of the wing was awful. They said that it was warped and had a bow in it. A real PIA to get mounted. Had to use 40 pound sand bags to keep it down while the urethane glue dried. Using the 3M tape by itself wasnt an option and its too narrow to screw down.

Hope to get pictures taken when I get it back. My Z Roadster is red.

So a quick little update - because of a few delays with the bodyshop I decided to install the exhaust since it wasn't going to paint.
The good news, the UR HFCs and ARK exhaust sound awesome! No drone or rasp whatsoever, just a deep angry growl. The bad news, I have the same issue as a few others where the passenger side tip doesn't line up exactly:

I have an email out to ARK so hopefully I can get a new resonator and tip soon. Its not horrible as it sits, but I wouldn't want to leave it this way.

I LOVE the way this car sounds now, it sounds like a little V8.
