Default G35 h techs

I got some G35 h techs for free from a friend and I'm curious to know if they'll work on my ZR. What are y'alls thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

According to the website they have different part numbers and different spring rates:

350z
Ride Height (F) -0.3in (-7mm)
Ride Height (R) -0.3in (-7mm)
Spring Rate (F) 358lbs/in (6.4kgf/mm)
Spring Rate (R) 375lbs/in (6.7kgf/mm)

G35 Sedan
Ride Height (F) -1.4in (-34.5mm)
Ride Height (R) -0.7in (-17mm)
Spring Rate (F) 324lbs/in (5.8kgf/mm)
Spring Rate (R) 263lbs/in (4.7kgf/mm)

G35 Coupe
Ride Height (F) -0.6in (-15mm)
Ride Height (R) -0.3in (-7.5mm)
Spring Rate (F) 324lbs/in (5.8kgf/mm)
Spring Rate (R) 263lbs/in (4.7kgf/mm)

That being said, they will probably physically fit.

G35 owners use 350z springs for better drop. Your going the opposite direction. H-tech springs owner typically don't see a lower drop from stock height. It's your call.

And that's what I've read. However, I've also read that roadster owners should use h techs because, and I'm assuming this part, we weigh more.

I think I'll go ahead and do it and if I don't like it I'll switch back to stock springs.

I'll post results when I do it.

Thanks!

Have you installed them yet? Got pics? I've got a guy about to sell me a set but I don't think it'll be noticeable because I have 19's

I never installed them. I read that they wouldn't work on my car.

This is copied and pasted from another thread I started.

Thoughts? Yes, I'll get right to the point.

Resell them and get something worthwhile.

Tein H-tech G35 coupe .6“/.3“(fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in lbs 324/260 (final rates only, softer intial front progressive rate unknown)

The problem is when installed on your ZR, you won't end up with the drop they would give on the G35 coupe. You'll end up with -.1" front and +.2" rear. not to mention that the rear springs are way too soft vs your oem springs.

350ZR oem spring rates
314/427
