Default 05 superblack 350zr modded

I just bought an 05 350z roadster, it's bone stock at the moment, only upgrade is the navigation system the dealer installed as part of my negotiation and the grill mod i found on this website thanks to the op of that mod, i also took some peoples advice and didnt install an intake only a k and n drop in filter, figure you guys know best if its worth it for an cai or not so i chose to follow your alls advice. i think it looks great!, I plan on driving it stock for now, atleast until I start finding parts for a good price, here are some pics, thanks for looking

I will keep you guys updated on all upgrades

ok, first mods done to the car, i installed 20 inch luxe wheels, i like how they match the door handles really well, and they look great, just need to add some wheel spacers to bring the back wheels out a little bit more flush with the rear fenders! also i bought a shorty antenna, took some advice from some of the threads on here and got one off ebay for a dodge avenger, it fits great and i get good reception with it as well!

next i sold a bunch of performance parts i had from the 97 prelude i sold for the down payment on this car, i bought a motordyne 5/16 iso thermal plenum spacer kit, a dna motoring true dual exhaust with burnt titanium tips, megan racing resonated test pipes, a twin bottle zex wet kit from nissantracker which is a good seller on here! totally legit, an autometer ultra lite 2 nitrous gauge, summit racing window switch and dynotune purge kit i have installed everything so far exept i havent figured out where i want to mount my arming switch for the nitrous, or the gauge. If anyone has suggestions for a clean install for these components or can point me in the direction of a tutorial on the subject that would be much appreciated! i also have not decided if i want to attempt to install the nitrous bottle behind the passenger seat or mount it to a peice of wood in the trunk, if i do the trunk mount i will mount both bottles. here are a few pics of the stuff installed as of now!

zex lines ran and fmu mounted.

here is the best pic i can get of the iso thermal spacer, just so you know, the upper plenum still gets really hot with this spacer, not sure if its because i have not installed the ccv kit yet or not, if you know let me know, thanks

here are pics of the true dual exhaust installed, just did this last night at a buddys garage. the video is poor quality and trust me it does sound alot better in person today, this was the first cold start after dropping it off the lift. sounds raspy but that has calmed down alot with a hundred miles of driving.

here is a link to a vid of the sound of the exhaust on first cold start:

dont have any numbers yet or a base stock dyno, i have not recieved my utec yet and will not be tuning for a couple of weeks or so, but the utec has an N/A map already installed on it with pretty much the same mods as i have installed, so i will have my tuner check and see if its gonna work for one of my 5 maps, if so i will dyno it with that map as my base, then after tuning a second map for the nitrous i will compare the two. wasnt worried about dynoing the stock configuration really cause all are pretty much the same but i will have dyno sheets as soon as i can get the cash together to get tuning done, i kinda blew my wad on all the parts, lol. soon though! soon!!!

lol i was just parked like that because of the lighting and both lots were empty, but yeah i could probably use a lesson in photography atleast, haha. just wanted the best view for the pics after a nice wash wax and detail, took all day after getting the wheels on. she was perfect that night, havent had it as clean since, but will be doing another complete detail after the nitrous bottles are mounted

here are a few new pics taken on my break at work today, washed the car yesterday, figured since i had not shared any pics with the top up this was a good opportunity since its cloudy outside, also included a pic of the exhaust from the back, and a cool little sticker i found yesterday left over from my honda moates demon engine management, i think it describes my driving style lol!

Um... idk if I'm the only one who see it... but your exhaust look pretty crooked from the back..?? or is it just the angle?

i think its the angle of the picture, but i did notice that the drivers side tip is about 1/4 inch in towards the center and i am going to spread the exhaust and tack weld in a mid support behind the mufflers, this will fix the issue. but its not crooked at all, i think i just took a bad angle shot, good eye though

well got my utec today thanks to fedex, after i got off work at 730pm i installed it and took it out for a test drive, it runs great, it came with an n/a tune on it already. i cant for sure say i felt an amazing difference but it does run great and it set me back in the seat in 3rd at 80mph, i think the butt dyno is a little confused from all the mods i have installed in the last week

Not a big fan of the Z roadster, but I think yours looks pretty nice. I guess since I'm not big on convertibles in general it would take something spectacular to get my attention. With the Z it just seems like the lines of the coupe just flow so beautifully that it's not possible to replicate it in a convertible. I've had people comment to me how they see my car as a "piece of art", which I totally agree with. Not so much with the convertibles. However, if I owned a convertible I'd probably be saying just the opposite!
