Default New top and one issue.....

I found the instructions and almost done with top install. Is it normal for the fourth bow to not slide all the way back to the normal position inside the top which is almost against the stitching along the back until I leave it in the sun for a while? I have the Ez-On top. It keeps the 5 bow from letting top up all the way and lock into full open position.

I installed the ez on top using the DIY guide here also, mine closes (goes up) fine but putting the top down if it's not directly in the sun I have to sort of hand 'compress' it just a little for the top hatch to close. It's been on since Oct so I'm guessing they are just a little too tight maybe. The previous top didn't do this at all.
Thankfully the 'smell' doesn't last long, man were those some nauseus fumes!

I finished the install and the top closes into the compartment well. When I open the top the weather seal below the 5th bow is 1/4 inch from the cover. The gap is getting smaller day by day. The top was fairly easy to install with only a few hiccups for me.

Yeah mine was so tight around the bottom below the window I had to just get 2 rivets in it then close the top and leave it for about 3 weeks to stretch to allow me to get the other ones in there then the metal brace on. very tight fit which is probably why I have issues with it opening on non sunny days.
