Question Turtle Wax car wash formula safe for soft top?

Hey all 350Z R owners? I've never own a soft top convertible before and am thinking of getting a ZR, but first these stupid simple questions to be on the safe side.

I was wondering if it is safe to wash the soft top with either Turtle Wax or Meguires Car Wash formula? If so is it safe to wash it everytime as hand cars wash is done?

Everyone, what car wash brand formula do you all use for the soft top?

Thanks!

Default raggtop cleaner/protectant

After trolling this board for about 2 mo, I have decided to spend the extra $5 and get what seems to be the best product.... Raggtop wash and also their protectant. Course, I gotta wait another damn 60-80 days before the ZR comes in. Got 'em both from Autopia.com for $26....what the hell, you only live once.

I used Meguiars on my Miata's cloth top for years. Looked new when I sold it.

Raggtop is very highly recommended on Autopia. I suggest reading their tips for cleaning/maintaining Covertible tops. The 350 has a cloth/canvas top, not vinyl.

I am using the Raggtop products on my Z's top. Purchased from www.autofanatics.com. I've never owned a convertible before either, so I figure I better start it out right. I think the cleansers are different. Who really knows. At least you'll think you are using something different. My top looks great and the protectant really does its job. Water just rolls off.
