I have a Wicked CAS fiberglass box and 13" sub behind my drivers seat. if you put it in the trunk yu will have zero room for anything.

go for the stock location box. u can also try SRQ custom sound roadster box, it can be cut for 10, 12, or 13. made from mdf and fiberglass, and lower cost, sounds great!!

Default How about the Infinity BassLink II sub

I don't have a roadster but I did replace my entire system and added the Infinity BassLink II sub in the stock location. I'm impressed with it although some might want more. Just a thought...

Default sub in roadster

I have the srq with a 13 inch JL flat sub where the bose sub normally goes behind the drivers seat as well and it sounds great. just be careful when you remove the trim, it's tight and I snapped off two clips pulling it off.

This is what I have too and highly recommend it. Mine is the first iteration 10" box. But I'm more than happy. "Crazy" folks even do two of these with one in the stock sub location and another taking up the storage cubby. BTW - I have two amps, one for the regular speakers (tweets/mids) and one for the sub. One under each seat with no issues after years of usage. Also, you can check out my setup here:

I concur with ZPHILE, as the best location for the sub is in the interior, utilizing the space where the existing sub exists. I transferred my sub from trunk to interior, and it made a world of difference.

IF you're okay with the trunk being basically even more gone than it already is, then yeah haha. trunk works. I have a set up being ready to be put in for the stock location. From what i've seen it just works better there, and sounds better.

I also have an Infinity Basslink behind the drivers seat in the stock location and it hits plenty hard enough for me. Made a huge difference in the sound of the Bose system before I ripped it out and replaced it with an Alpine/Infinity setup. Sounds even better now.

I have 2 SRQ boxes, with Kenwood Excelon 10" subwoofers. Running a Excelon XRS1 amp, under pass. seat. Sound 100x better vs. subs in trunk.

So When you install it you get rid of the stock sub bracket and bolt this in...is it the same thing on the passenger side minus deleting the glove box?

That is correct , take out the steel factory sub mounting plate on drivers side , bolt this box in using the same hardware . Passenger side , remove oem glovebox , and bolt box in . I have 1 box for sale at $60.00 shipped(unloaded)or $100.00 shipped with a Pioneer Premier 10" dual 4 Ohm driver loaded into the box . Was used one summer and never abused . Wire the driver in Parallel and your mono amp will see a 2ohm load .
