Got my Roadster!
I thought I'd post this by way of introduction - I took delivery yeaterday of a new Silverstone Roadster (Enthusiast) w/ 6spd.
Everyone at work was wondering why I had this big smile on my face this morning
Managed to get it for $500 under MSRP by going through the AAA Car Buying Service (as I have done for my last 2 cars). The best thing about that is not having to deal with all the dealer's BS - it takes about half an hour to do everything and drive away
Anyway, I'm looking forward to joining in some of the discussions on this board.

Steve,
I ordered my roadster in December. Should be here in March. Over the next several weeks, keep an eye on the "tire feathering" problem that has been reported. I'm interested to see if new production models have corrected this issue. Have fun with your new car.

Get used to having that grin. It doesn't wear off very quickly.

I got my Silverstone Roadster in October and it still makes me grin once and a while.
Being in AZ you can even drop your top! Right now my top is parked in the UP position until spring. I am in CT and this morning it was 3 degrees F outside. Brrrrr.
Fortunately I have a few nice days to drive top down before Winter hit CT.

Congrats on the new ride...I'm reading a lot of new "silverstone" roadsters getting acquired...must be a popular color...and for good reason...looks great. I had a 6 spd enthusiast first (car in the pic) before I traded to an automatic touring. I do miss the 6 speed, and the enthusiast was exactly all I needed. However, combination of the seating position and the shifting began to aggravate my back so I went "to the dark side" (grin). I would have been happy with an auto enthusiast but the touring was all I could find and still keep the same color combinations...gotta love the silverstone and black. ANYWAY...not to ramble...at least I have the manual shift mode...which is really way better than I imagined it might be...not the same, but pretty darn good for satisfying the yearning to row my own gears. Would never have an auto that didn't at least have that option...but you got the "real" deal with the 6 speed, so ENJOY!!! srm
