Those of us who love our "sport cars" come in all sizes and shapes. I chose the 350Z, mostly because it reminds me a bit of the old Porsche Speedster, and being a Porsche gal for years, after my beloved 928 was totalled, the Z was the first "sports car" that had the feel, the acceleration. the cornering, (I live in a place that does not have straight roads), the sass, and I can put my golf clubs in the trunk!!! Is the gas pedal perfect for me? NOPE, but this car is so much fun to drive!!!!

Funny you mention this. I have always felt that are things that favor small people. (I am 6'2"). Airline seats suck if you are tall. Sports cars are hard to buy when you are tall. Boats and planes are tight fits to.

There are advantages to being tall to, but I think it evens out.

I wish cars came in size. I want a 2004 350Z Roadster in XL please.

Mine has two rotary ***** on the left side of the cushion - the front one raises/lowers the front of the cushion, the back one does the rear of the cushion.

BTW, I am 6'0", 230lbs and have no difficulty fitting in the roadster - I don't even need the seat all the way back (I have relatively short legs for my height - 31" inseam).

There are actually two ***** on the side, even if you do have power seats. I think it helps to get out of the car to see/adjust them.

At first I couldn't figure out what they were for. But I think my weight (210 lbs) was not allowing them to operate freely. It's kind of strange, but the ***** only adjust the seat part of the seat, not the back. The front one moves the front end of the seat up and down and the back **** adjust the back end of the seat.

I highly recommend playing with all the seat adjustments to get a good fit. Like some of the others, I too thought that at 6'2" I'd want the seat all the way back. But I found that moving it forward a bit and andjusting the seat into a more upright position provides a more comfortable drive.

I learned that one of the ongoing modifications to the car, like the extra power outlet, change in center stack materials, etc., is the addition of an extra adjustment **** on the seat. My car was built in September, I think, and has only one **** adjustment, that which raises and lowers the front of the seat cushion. I do not have the adjustment for the rear of the seat. That is something that I think would help me. Anyway, that explains the confusion. I didn't realize they were doing that.

Same here, I have only one **** as well. If that is something that you like, you may be able to buy the seat from Nissan.

Interesting. I'm glad Nissan is continually improving the car as it gets feedback from owners. I don't think I have the extra power supply. But, as I said I do have the other **** on the seat. I wonder if the dealer could replace/sell you just the bottom part of the seat.

My 350ZR was built in October and has the two power outlets and the two seat adjustment ***** on driver side. I think they have switched around end of Septemebr. Still agree with earlier posts that the main problem seems to be the accelerator pedal seems to be too close for my right leg. Im 6'3'' 205 lbs and everything is comfortable except for my right leg which is always bent a little too much to compensate for the accelerator being to forward. The dead pedal for the left side allows me to stretch out my left leg fine. I think I will check with my delaer to see if any adjustment to the accelerator pedal can be done to move farther away. Worth a try to comfort this old man that has long legs.
