I recently bought what I thought was a silver 2006 350Z Grand Touring convertible with 45K miles for $17K. It has heated frosted leather seats, Bose 6CD stereo with audio controls on the steering wheel and navigation. I've read that all GT models have the Rays wheels with Brembo brakes. Mine doesn't.

Was I mislead in the ad for the vehicle?

Couple pics and thanks again!
gt has brembos and 19" rear.. touring doesnt have brembos or 19" rear. thats only difference.

More mis-information. The top of the line Z from 2006 forward was called the "Grand Touring".

Roadsters did not get the GT wheels - the only real way to quickly tell between a Grand Touring and a Touring for roadsters is the Brembo brakes.

My roadster was sold marketed as a "Grand Touring" by the dealer and I've since discovered that its a Touring. I'm thrilled with it so its all good...

'08 GT wheels on my Touring. I have had them on for about 5 years now and still haven't seen another Roadster with them.

Since I bought my car, I've looked around for other "Grand Touring" roadsters and have found some. With the Rays wheels too. Not as common ad GT coupes tho...

Well they didnt come like this from the factory. I'm sure there is at least one out there but have yet to see another vert with these wheels in person or even this forum.

Wrong...According to the Nissan spec chart that I have.....which was issued in 2006:

Grand Touring roadsters features, Touring equipment plus Brembo braking system and Vehicle Dyanamic Control (VDC).
Grand Touring Coupe features Touring & Track equiptment.

Track: includes Enthusiast equipment plus Brembo braking system, RAYS
super lightweight 18" front & 19" rear forged alloy wheels, front chin spoiler,
rear underbody diffusers, rear spoiler and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)

Touring: includes Enthusiast equipment plus Bose audio system with in-dash
6-CD changer, leather-appointed seats, power heated seats and Vehicle Dyamic Control (VDC)...on manual transmission models
