Default Manual Top

Has anyone ever converted their top to a manual open and close? Can tht be done with this particular roadster?

I seriously doubt it can be done without a thorough re-engineering of the top mechanism.

Thanks. That would have been awesome if it could have been done easily and a great alternative for those on planning to keep the roadster for the long haul.

I always hoped we could keep the powered lid and just do the rest manually. My top hasn't been up in over a year so no biggie but I would still do it.

You could probably get it done if you applied for a mortgage to get the many thousands you'd need in order to fund it and pay a top class bodywork designer/builder to do it for you. Whether it'd look any good though well that's another question.

not sure why you would want to.. not an engineer, but I do not see it being that difficult to do.. its just a bunch of hinges...
