Rutgerz education would agree both ways.

Guys,

I'm new here but, I spent the last 7 years on the FFRCars forum. It's designed for folks who are building their own Cobra replica. On that forum, there was no such thing as a stupid question. Most answers were polite and helpful. Here we've got four pages making fun of someone. Why not politely point the error of his ways?

That is what I am getting from MANY of the threads...my favorite(sarcasm) is the asking for a reference or help and the responses are "google it" The idea here is that people in the know, know, and could answer the question easily. If I know the answer I will reply with everything I know, not "google it". Expound a little from your experience and annotate with an URL as added measure.

I am new to 350zs, but a simple response like

"you should not have done that. The throttle pedal is an electronic pedal and not physically connected to the throttle body. The body and the pedal are matched through a series of steps that tell the computer where fully open is supposed to be and everything in between. If there is a governor as to max RPM it would be in the ECU/Computer, not a physical device. That stop you cut off was most likely a stop that prevented the pedal from travelling pass the prescribed arc. Any perceived faster times is most probably a placebo effect and the result of you just getting better at shifting"

Just sayin'

Welcome

I'm glad you and kevin are here, continue to keep the rest of us civil!?!

Keeps these boards well rounded, but don't dwell on the post of others when responding yourself.

Unlike the audience of those other boards, my350z new owner's age bracket is far lower (16-24). Feel free to read through threads from 03-05 if you want a kindler/politer my350z.

Since then the new users will ask/do silly things. When questioned or corrected politely as you put it, the following response is expected:

"Y u hating"

That response comes in different flavors...

Politer is a word!
