Default How much you guys paying for the Convertible?

Sup guys, I currently own a coupe and purchased it last year. I am highly considering selling my Z and saving all year for Convertible Z 05 model. I am not real sure on which color etc but the one i am eyeing (nissanusa.com) is roughly 40,000. No matter what i almost expect to receive $1000 of MSRP however less will be nice. I have a friend whos father has alot of stock in a local nissan dealership (part owner). Not sure yet but I think its possible he could cut me a deal with a few grand off MSRP. Does anybody here have pics of a Daytona Blue/Frost Leather with stock 18inch chrome wheels. Most people dont like chrome but i am the exception. What ya think? In relation to MSRP what are you guys paying and what should i expect in a years time december to feburary?

I got mine for $900 over invoice. I also had them install the Nismo S-Tune Suspension, sway bars and exhaust before delivery. They gave me a decent (not great) price on the parts and installed them all for "free." SO they are covered under my factory warranty.

Check kbb.com for invoice pricing.

As for me, I paid 1k under MSRP. No complaints here.

MSRP was $38K, got it for $37K... other dealers wanted $41K

Stay away from the nav unit... not worth it. Saves you 1K right there.

Expect the same in a year... Roadsters are limited edition... only 6000 shiped to the US this year.

I was considering the DB and Frost, but white leather looks ugly when it gets dirty and with a drop top, everyone sees the interior...

Purchased a CS/Frost/Blue top/18" OEM in August, MSRP 39200,
pd 38200. The frost is very classy and most other brands charge extra for a blue top. Doubt I'll see an identical model soon.

On another issue, can't remember where I saw the statement that the 18" OEM wheels were some variation of a Maxima grey color, anyone know what paint matches those wheels? I need to
touch up the rims...

I am presently in negotiations. It looks like $1000 under MSRP is the best I am going to do.

Wish me luck.

My dealer has a touring Redline 6MT for $500 over invoice. Zs sell slow in our area and he just needs to move it. Only options are floor mats and splash guards. $34,705 will buy it. Been sitting in the showroom for about 4 months.
This buy is good enough to easily pay for shipping anywhere in the US.

Depends on who you are. I get lost in a paper bag. The nav system was the only option I was passionate about getting. The fact that I can punch up, restaurants, atms, hospitals, hotels, etc. definately made it worthwhile to me.

Besides, that hole in the middle of the dash is filled nicely with it and the automatic door is sweet. The way the manual door just sticks out looks like crap to me.

I paid $1200 under MSRP and got them to throw in a few extras including the custom cover. It's a CS enthusiast with 17" wheels ( I like the ride better than the 18's). I will replace the audio system with something that I like better than the Bose offered on the Touring. After owning several convertibles with black leather, I prefer the cloth. If I decide to replace the cloth, I have seen several leather kits that in my opinion look better than the stock (which looks pretty good in their own right) and I can do it for under $1000. Some dealers in the area wanted up to $5000 over stickerfor their Roadsters, others wanted $1000+. I frankly enjoyed their test drive but bought from a dealer who treats their customers as if they actually wanted them to come back. So far I am very impressed with my first Z but I haven't been able to drive it for 10 days due to the snow and ice here. If it doesn't warm up soon, I'm truckin' it to the southwest US where I can air it out!

Picked up my Black/Black Touring Roadster--MT, this past August. Paid sticker, but got 100k extended warranty for $250 and car cover and trunk mesh thing at no charge. So, I figure I actualy got it for about 1k under sticker considering the money saved on the extended warranty.

Every option available only puts you at $41,360 or so. What kind of mods were there that put you up at 48k?

Default s-tune suspension

Hey there,

How do you like your s-tune suspension? I have quite a bit of freeway "hop" and I heard that s-tune can cure that. Is the ride smoother than the stock suspension?

Mine is a chrome silver with a navy blue top with gray frost leather seats. I paid $43,000 for it but had the Nissan dealership add the Nissan perfomance parts to it.

S-Tune suspension solved the "hop." Easily the best mod I have made thus far.

I have also done S-Tune sways (0 body roll) & exhaust (sounds wonderful), R-Tune Clutch and JWT Flywheel (grabs hard, revs fast and sounds like a cement mixer).
