Just got mine last week.

Got the 350ZR Touring Le Mans Sunset/Black Leather MT with every option but NAV for 39,750 after tax/tags/title. Auto Sales Tax in VA is 3%.
So, thats just about 300-400 under MSRP

I'm new to this board. Just ordered the Z touring roadster, super black, 17' wheels with all extra's except the navagation. & trunk mats. I got $1,800.00 off the MSRP and 2 black stainless steel pearl Z frame covers from the dealer. Now I'm not sure if I.m going to use the one for the front? I started pricing roadsters this past November, went to 7 different dealers, 3 wanted MSRP, one wanted $3,000.00 over retail, one wanted $2,000.00 over retail, one wanted $4,000.00 over retail. All seven dealers told me that last year guys from California were driving out of their dealerships and paying $5,000.00 over MSRP. I said this year it ain't going to happen! More cars are available & more competion too!
I could of bought a chrome silver one on the lot with 93 miles on it for $2,000.00 off the MSRP. But I wanted the Super Black on black. So now I'm waiting hopefully by mid April or sooner. Now I just found out about the tire feathering problem? I just hope it's not going to take the fun out of the anticipation! I also turned down an offer for a Corvette with $9,000.00 off the MSRP which includes their special promotion and my GM card discount. I always loved Corvettes but the Z has it all in my opinion! I hope I'm not wrong in my decision. ps..... There are dealers on the internet where you can buy a Z for $400.00 over invoice. That was my wedge factor in my getting the deal that I wanted. The end result was I paid about $200.00 more from the dealer rather than having the car transported & etc. Good Luck!

I paid MSRP. I figured I was doing pretty good considering it is top-down season for most of the year.

I am not real sure on which color etc but the one i am eyeing (nissanusa.com) is roughly 40,000. No matter what i almost expect to receive $1000 of MSRP however less will be nice. I have a friend whos father has alot of stock in a local nissan dealership (part owner). Not sure yet but I think its possible he could cut me a deal with a few grand off MSRP. Does anybody here have pics of a Daytona Blue/Frost Leather with stock 18inch chrome wheels. Most people dont like chrome but i am the exception. What ya think? In relation to MSRP what are you guys paying and what should i expect in a years time december to feburary?

Got my Black touring roadster the other day fully loaded except for Nav. I asked them to give me their best deal and they dropped 1,400 off the msrp. I probably could have haggled some on the extended warranty or gotten some freebies, I did manage to get them to throw in a keychain from the parts dept. Damn thing was going for 10 bucks! Well i would have happily paid msrp since I could only find a couple of roadsters within 150 miles that had manuals, I had been to this dealer earlier in the day and they didn't have any, then 3 hours later they called me to tell me the truck had come in and there was a black roadster, the rest is history.

I picked mine up 8/7/03 & paid $5K OVER MSRP ($38K-$43K). I had called to every major city within 5 hours driving distance & no one had one it yet (at the time). My dealership moves them quickly & they are still getting between $2K-$5K OVER MSRP today. That won't last long though, the new alottments are arriving & people have more choices now. If I were to buy right now, I wouldn't give over MSRP. Those of you that are getting them just above invoice, jump on that deal!
Incidentally, no regrets here. I was able to be one of a very small handful of people to have the car last summer in my area & love the looks/attention it generates.

I forgot to mention the "free" keychain the dealer threw in for me.. Yea I wasn't paying 10 bucks for the damn thing.

My salesperson bought me a hat! Oh, and the parts guy gave me a bunch of car care stuff that I wouldn't use on my 1984 Suburban.

I'm in the Nashville area and bought both my roadsters @ sticker...nothing more nothing less. First one I bought they'd had for 5 days (purchased August 16) and I was one of if not the first in the area with the car. The second was October 29; still paid msrp. At least one other dealer was charging thousands over sticker...it was a dealer I have always bought from before (...ok, it was Hippodrome), but this time around...they didn't want my business bad enough. I purchased both Roadsters, and most recently my FX45 from Mike Creque Nissan and Infiniti of Nashville (a Creque-owned dealership), respectively. Action Nissan here had at least 5 roadsters on the lot a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't think there is any reason to pay a premium with some dealers having some inventory. Let me know if you have someone that needs one...I'll try and get them the hook-up with my buddy, Josh Parrish, at Mike Creque in Franklin, TN.

I paid $200 over invoice on my White Roadster (Touring 6MT) with Frost Leather Interior 2 weeks ago. It also has Navigation.

MSRP was $39200 and I paid $36,300. The invoice was $36,100. I saw the invoice.

I got a VPP. It was hard to find a dealer that wanted to accept VPP but I found one and they had the exact car I wanted.

There were only 3 White Roadster Touring 6MT with Frost Leather Interior in So. Cal. & only 2 had Navigation.

I feel pretty lucky.

That very good price? $900 over invoice.

ocjared, where did you get your Roadster? I would like to know also. I have a friend who wants to get a Roadster also. I asked the dealer that I got my Roadster with VPP and the Fleet manager said that the only reason why he sold me the ZR with VPP is that Nissan is obilgated to give the dealer another Roadster with in certain period. He says that if he sales a Roadster at low price, there is no guarantee that he will get more and even if he gets more, They don't get that many and Roadster moves fast. So with my friend, he would not even go $1200 under MSRP.

VPP is a program for Nissan Employees & their friends & family.

From what I know, they only get 3 a year. Its a special pricing that Nissan give it to friends & families of Nissan employee. Lots of dealer don't like to do VPP. They really don't make very much money. Espcially on a HOT car like Roadster.

The way you can get VPP is if you have friend or a family of Nissan employee and they have to get you a spcecial number.
