This is kind of the like "Red Dot" episode of Seinfeld where George bought a really expensive cashmere sweater with a deep discount for Elaine because the sweater had a red dot on it and he was hoping she wouldn't notice. I was hoping no one would see it but.....yes, the filler seems to have cracked even though I bought it at a body shop and it is meant for filling bumpers. When I respray the car, Ill figure out what to do about it.

Yeah if the motor is not working at best cleaning will help it work for a bit longer. Every window motor I've seen get cleaned works for anywhere between not at all, a few minutes and a day or two. Not really worth the hastle of taking it all apart only to have to go back and do it again.

My Blue Roadster
Very Nice Roadster! I had considered a Nismo kit for mine but the cost was too much at the time. I went with carbon fibre C-West and Siebon body parts. Also, ProjectX upgraded the engine with a Vortech Supercharger.
Mine's for sale.

UPDATE: The window stopped working again but I have the strangest temporary fix. I find that if I open the door, press the window button and close the door while the window button is pressed, the window starts working again. Obviously I need to open the door up and make a fix, but it kinda works for now.
I have a list of things that need attending to:
1. The rear Nismo bumper pulls away from the car on the right side. The attachment hole on the bumper is broken. Im thinking of epoxying a washer on the underside.
2. Fix or replace the drivers window regulator.
3. Brakes are shimmying. Need to machine or replace front rotors.
4. The upper part of the driver seat does not heat when heater is turned on. Most likely a broken wire in the heating pad.
5. I have some curb rash on my beautiful right rear Nismo wheel...I guess Ill need to get some paint.
6. My gas gauge is acting up again even though I cleaned the sending units....ugh

I got a tip from AffyliatedZ regarding having my GTR shift **** fit better. I never liked the fact that the shift **** was kind of Wiggly on the shifter shaft. The tip was to get a pencil grip cushion and put it on the **** about three-quarters of the way in and then hit the **** on to the shaft. I ordered some cushions and they should be here in a couple of days so I will keep you all posted and thank you again to Affyliated Z. Hopefully it works out good for me as it did for you.

I got the pencil cushions yesterday and yanked my GTR **** off to fiddle with it. After a bit of fiddling, I got the cushion to work and the shift **** is solid. I do have to push down a bit when shifting into park but it feels much better. Thanks AffyliatedZ!!
