Default Am I making a good purchase?

So I put a deposit on a 2005 350z roadster touring model. It had 38k miles and is at a dealership. It's a super cute orange with black wheels and orange seats. The dealership did have an AutoChex available for me which shows 2-3 owners before me but it was always registered and no accidents were reported. The dealer has me at 13,500 including tax, tags, and title. I'm in Pennsylvania, what do you current owners think of this?

Your help is greatly appreciated I'm supposed to drive 2.5 hours to pick her up in Maryland on Tuesday.

That sounds 2-3k high. I would use KBB.com or AutoTrader.com to compare prices/availability within your search area. Low miles for sure.
Drive it, and request a 24 hr test drive.

I'm sorry did you say a "super cute orange"? WTF dude. This is a beast it is not cute. lol

Just kidding.

It is a little high bro! Better have new tires and brakes all the way around and have that price include a 100k warranty.

NADA for my area says 11,400 for a clean trade and 14,400 retail. The selling price is 11,999.

The only other one I found with similar miles within 100 miles is an 04 and they want 12,900.

The 13,500 includes tax and tags, etc.

Based on that info what do you think?

Depends what condition the car is in.

Pictures would be very helpful.

This is the link to the car. Ignore the price on the web we have been negotiating...

everything in the pics, body and interior look to be in pretty good shape.

But you want to look at the motor and underside of the car. Check for signs of any oil leaks and how clean it all is.

Pull the dipstick for motoroil and trans to see how clean it is.

Also condition of Brakes and tires.

Next time DO NOT give a Deposit until you have test driven the car, had the car checked out, and negotiated a price that you are happy with.

Hope this helps
