Default New owner of 2006.5 w/ low miles

Just got a 2006.5 base Z (manual) after only having german cars, and I love it! It's pikes peak pearl white, with just under 50k on it.

As far as plans go, I put a stereo in it today, and eventually intend on getting brembos / aluminum pedals from a track edition. However, the next thing I've got my sights on is a good looking set of staggered wheels which won't kill my bank entirely. Any recommendations?

Congrats and welcome aboard! Sweet PPW!!

Wheels.... the perennial question! I'm partial to factory wheels.... four of my six sets are such but there's a world of whills to choose from, from decent reps up to and beyond the top dog Volks/BBS/etc. Shop around, stroll through the wheel & tire section here to get an idea.

Then there's always the ability to paint/powder your existing wheels like many do here. One recent example: https://my350z.com/forum/media-share...l#post10736753

Yea wheels really depend on your style and how much you want to spend. There is soooo much variance in price, style, sizing, etc...

And welcome to the PPW club! I like your idea of adding the OEM track edition pieces

Thanks guys!

I am very attracted to the RAYS Nismo wheels, and would probably try to get 18s all around (maybe through swapping) as opposed to the double staggered.

I have some 19" snow tires to sell which could pave the way for these wheels, though upon trying to post in the classifieds I was stopped. Is that a paid feature only? Or a matter of activation?

I think you have to have either 500 posts, 90 days or be a premier member to sell in the marketplace.

Welcome to the jungle, fellow Seattleite. You can never go wrong with Pikes Peak Pearl White. If you do go with aftermarket wheels, do your best to save the OEMs. They hold their value well (assuming they haven't been curb rashed to hell and back.)

I'm fairly sure there is a rule that says if you buy aftermarket wheels for a Z they have to be RPF-1s.
