So I was going through a laundry list of repairs and maintenance on my aging roadster, and one of the items on my list was diagnose the faulty windshield washer system (WWS). Since I could not hear the motor running when I activated the WWS, I first went there under the passenger side fender liner. A voltmeter revealed that I was getting 12 volts to the motor, so the circuit was operating properly. When I hooked the connector to the washer motor it started working. It turns out that the connector must have been a bit dirty. I noticed a second washer motor on the fluid reservoir. When I pulled it off, I noticed it was blocked off. I guess Nissan built the washer reservoir for the hard top cars and their rear wipers and installed the same ones in our convertibles but blocked off the motors.

Any how, I primed the tubing and turned on the WWS, and now it works great. Im surprised the tubes werent blocked from being inactive for so many years.
