Default Gearbox

So I just got my car back last night from a mechanic that replaced my gearbox that was slipping. Now the car has no power! Going up hill a bit it won’t go above 30km/h, won’t ahift into gear until the revs hit about 4-5 and takes so much longer to even get up to 60km/h. Haven’t even been able to get it above 70km/h. When I hit the accelerator it either doesn’t respond or is delayed. Anyone have a problem like this or even a solution? Thanks

First, please don't double post. Causes confusion and clutter.

Secondly, why aren't you asking the person who worked on the car instead of the forum? You'll get guesses here, lots of them and likely ONE of them will be correct; but none that anyone can confirm without hands on, which your "mechanic" had and will have to fix it. I mean it's clear that it's gone into limp home mode (or something close), likely crank position sensor, affected by transmission removal in the vicinity (see, a guess). Other thing, did you pull the DTC?

Sorry didn’t realise I posted twice. So the mechanic that did the work couldn’t figure it the problem and that made me kinda lose trust. I’ve taken it to a new mechanic since. But wanting to see if anyone else had the same problem
