I wish it was still at Fontana as I loved the venue and driving the Tail with the top down was amazing. Cherohala Skyway was also too much fun for words.

Damn, good thing you told me. I must have looked in the wrong place for info. I had taken PTO and everything for this May 19th. Blowing Rock is 3 hrs away but that's not too far. I tried to access the FB group but I'm not having any luck.

And you're right.. Fontana and especially the Cherohala are amazing for sure. If any of you guys head my way (Robbinsville/Dragon/Cherohala/Fontana) please let me know.

There's not a lot of activity on FB. The website is really the go-to place for registration, activity details, etc.

NC is definitely a hike for you if you're out on the west coast, but there is no judgment at Zdayz! I think a lot of people don't go since they think their Z is in poor shape, or they're going to be judged/embarassed like the savagery on the interwebs, but it's not like that at all. Just a bunch of Z nerds doing Z stuff, and having fun.
