my 5th bow kept stalling when trying to open the top on my 2005 350z. I took out the 5th bow, replaced the brushes, and bench tested it. Motor worked, no stalling.

when I reinstalled it and press the roof open button, the windows drop, the passenger seat moves forward, back roof latch detaches (loud click), but the 5th bow motor doesn’t run/open roof.

I read in another post that some had luck adjusting limit switch/realigning the metal tabs - but that dude hasn’t logged back in for years.

has anyone ever had same problem ? Anyone have photos of how to reach it? Adjust them?

There are plenty of threads in the roadster section describing similar issues. Nobody ever seems to post a solution. The roof opening/closing sequence is fairly complex and what may work for one isn't going to work for another.
