Customize reflector glass
Hi all,
I own a 2005 Z Roadster and was wondering if someone else had issues with wind.
I am 1.85m and at higher speeds (100+ km/h) the wind gets really annoying for longer drives.
Is there someone who made de reflector glass higher so the air will not mess with your head so much
Roger

We're the same height (6' 1" = 1.85m for us non-metric people). I've taken long drives with the top dropped averaging about 70-75mph (112-120 km/h) and after about an hour or so long trip, my head feels like it's buzzing when I stop. I think it's just something you deal with while open motor cruising.
I suppose you could roll up the side windows and go for the fishbowl look.
As far as modifying the rear deflector glass/windshield, I suppose it is possible. The plastic covers over the roll hoops split apart with a series of plastic tabs and you could fabricate something out of glass or thick acrylic.

Hey Roger,
I know your issue is specific to the roadster, but you can try experimenting with anti-buffeting deflectors.
Something like these (LINK). These make a huge difference for hard top models, but they may also have a positive impact for convertibles.
If you have access to a 3D printer, I would print some test pieces to see if there's any noticeable impact. Try different locations around your A pillars & windshield.
Cheers!
