Default Luggage or golf clubs

Has anyone been able to fit a suitcase or a set of golf clubs in the trunk of the roadster?

I don't get my Z til Friday, but I've already measured the trunk for golf clubs. My clubs, which are 2 inches longer than normal, will fit fine.

Fore!

I've fit both in mine.
Took the clubs to the dealership, they fit like a charm. That was a major point in buying the car... the sticks had to fit.

I went on a little trip this past weekend and took a large suitcase. The Roadster Trunk fit it like a glove - but it was a little difficult getting it in and out with the size and weigh of the bag, along with being extra careful not to scratch something.

A 26" wheeled Samsonite (a good sized suitcase) will just fit in there, with room for a tote bag or small duffle on each side. The owner's manual shows the secret to getting a golf bag in the trunk. They show how to get 2 into the Coupe, but the Roadster will only take one. There is a disclaimer that some sizes or types may not fit. I don't know what's up with that.

Golf clubs, no problem. I have a ping hoofer 2 back that fits easily back there. Since you do have to load the heads of the clubs in first, I always toss the rain cover on just to be sure that no club slips and dings the paint. Being **** retentive is fun .

Default 9" bag works fine

Zeta's primary use is for transportation to and from the golf course, I love her and all, but if she couldn't carry my clubs, I'd get a new caddy.

Now as for luggage, I will have to check back with you after my road trip to the Big Bend area of Texas for 3-4 days. Wife and I plan on nice long road trip.

They make a special luggage package for $420, but I think its only for the coupe.

Golf Clubs - no problemo. Just be carefull when you take 'em out. The angle required makes the clubs want to slide a little. The rain cover idea is a good one. Enjoy.

I guess I'll have to try again. Mine have been riding in the passenger seat. I could get the bag in no problem, but the driver and 3 wood stuck out big time...

We discovered this weekend that my son's acoustic guitar fits like a glove.

When I travel for work I take a roller bag and a computer bag. The roller fits fine in the trunk. Sometimes the computer bag has to go in the front seat. We have a very secure parking ramp at our airport and I love coming home and seeing my Z waiting for me.

One of the fun parts of showing off your new Z is pointing out the instructions on the inside lid for putting a golf bag in the trunk. Everyone gets a kick out of that.

Will 2 Hoofer bags fit in there? If the woods are taken out first?

Default Doubt it

dcmidnight,

Pretty sure only one bag will fit. Unless you have 47" plus driver, keep clubs in bag, head down first, then bottom.

No. The problem isn't the length of the clubs...

It's the depth and height of the trunk. You'd have a hard time fitting two of anything back there, much less carry bags.
