Just turned 50 last month and ready to say bye-bye to my 1986 Corvette and get either a 2006 Z or a new Solar Orange 2007 in the very near future!

Default Age

I'll be 55 in December. I've had about 40 cars of all types (had a 04 Roadster) and decided I wanted another one). I traded in a 07 MX5 Miata to get it. The MX was great. It's like driving a big go-cart but we decided that we needed a bit more room for longer trips. We took the MX on 2 trips (about 7-800 miles each) and it was not uncomfortable its just that the extra size of the Z is better and it rides a better also.

Just turned 58. It's not how old you are, it's how old you feel.

Hi all I'm 63 and drive an 05 anniversary roaster on the week-ends
and the rest of the week it stays in the garage.
When it really nice out I ride my HD 03 FLHTCUI.
My daily commuter is a 98 diesel Beetle.

Default 26---27 in a few months

Mine is less a late 20's crisis than a realization that I better buy what I want now before I'm married with kids. That's why older people have Z's. I'm at that weird age where younger people call me ma'm and older people ask me about my mommy and daddy because they think I'm 19/20.

1) They can afford them because they aren't paying for all the things that come with kids.

2) They grew up with sports cars and appreciate them. My mother and father helped me look up sports cars and made suggestions as to what I might want to look for. I was in love with the Solstice--still am but I'm 5'10 and it is so small I think I could sit on the top on the hood without trying hard. My Dad is scared to death that I will kill myself with the roadster (I'm the baby girl of the family) but he loves sports cars and told me to buy what I want, you're only young once.

I'm waiting for the phone call from the car agency saying they've found one for me. Think it would be okay to pray for it?
