Purchase and enjoy what you want. Forget the old sayings of crises. We all bought Z's because we love their ability, price and sex (appeal that is)
Mine was a "I moved out to Hawaii and wanted a toy crises"

I'm liking my '07 ZR because it's so much better than my '75 280z...but it still 'fits' the same and such for the driver...MLC is for folks who are embarrassed to praise you for your beautiful purchase...and want to find something to say w/o giving you a "...way to go dude!" I'm almost 52 years old too...

Default old fart age index

I'm 66. I just sold my 72 MGB I'd had since 1980. It threw a water pump on the way to the car show to be shown. I'd repaired, painted or replaced everything on it at least three times. That's why the Z... I don't have enuf gold chains for a Vette and I can't fit in a Boxter's upright seat.

My Z Touring Roadster is a whole 'nother animal. Great road car, soaks up 880 mi trips. Only thing is the blue lights that seem to show up in my mirror....... Stealthy, it isn't...

Hey...I'm soon to be 42 and my wife is 50. No MLC here. We've always loved sports cars. Once it's in you it's in you for life.
