I finally found something to safely clean bird droppings (in my case it was a death from above pelican)! Starbrite Sail and Canvas Cleaner This stuff is awesome as a spot cleaner. I used full strength with a toothbrush. The important part of this cleaning is that if you look closely at our top you can see a groove pattern. Run the toothbrush back and forth following that groove. Mop the rest up with a water soaked towel. I followed up with 303 protectant. Top looks better than it ever has!

i get the turtle dove turd on my car, but nothing like yours. i can imagine driving around with my top down and a pelican drops one on my head.

is it only sold online?

It really ticks me off. Since I have a white car, its a real good target for birds to do their business.

It sucks but thats what I get for getting a white car.

Pelicans are like b52's over Germany they carpet-bomb everything in site. I'm sure they look for cars to do damage on. The seagulls target people and pelicans target vehicles and bldgs. I'm telling ya it's war on the coasts of Florida!

Boatersworld has retail locations all around FL as well as the website. Not sure about other states. I would say most boat supply shops will have the cleaner.
