Default Z comments every time at the gas station

I've had my SuperBlack Touring ZR for 3 weeks now and love it! So far I'm batting a thousand at the gas station. Every time I stop and get gas their is always someone who starts striking up a conversation about my car. What a beautiful car & etc. Excellent compliments. Most of them want to know what kind of car it is? How does the top work?.... This must happen to you guys also?? I also removed all Nissan badges from the car & replaced the wheel inserts. Yesterday I got my new plates....NIFTY Z That was also talked about today!!! What a fun car too...... Good Luck!

Hudson, OH, eh? I lived there a long time ago. Old Orchard Drive, if memory serves me correct. Almost went back to Western Reserve for high school, but decided against it in the end.

The Z Roadster population is getting pretty thick here in LA. It takes a modified ZR to stand out now, but there are still people who ask if I had a conversion done to the fixed-roof Z to make it a drop-top.

Enjoy your new ride!

I get more looks and comments on my S/B Roadster than any car I've ever, ever owned, and I've had some really nice cars before. First thing I did was replace the tires and rims with Volks. Makes a bunch of difference. Also, I can't tell you the number of ricers that roll up to me at the light and comment on how nice the car is.

ss350z07.....I don't have a quality camera yet and I'm still learning the fundamentals of posting pics & etc. I will post a pic or 2 later on....THANKS ! I just don't see too many Z's around the Cleveland-Akron area! In fact most of the Nissan dealership's have no ZR's to sell except one of the 7 dealership's in this area.

Default A Truck

I was on my way home from the gym and I got my first "idiot" who wanted to race. He was in a raised 4-wheel drive truck and kept racing his engine at a stop light and looking at me. I looked over and lost it. He got mad that I was laughing at him but it was the way he was acting. Actually his truck sounded sooped up and he might could have but I don't race period, nada and never. A long long time ago I got caught racing on a street. I got lucky and didn't get a ticket. From that point on I have never raced and will never do it unless its at a race track somewhere. Knowing my luck right down the road behind a bush or a sign will sit "bubba" just waiting to bust me LOL.

the reason that the rest of the US dont have a lot of ZRs is probably cuz LA is hogging all of them

elyliu....I bought my ZR 3 weeks ago in Nashville TN. Over the internet. Flew down in the morning and drove home in the afternoon! It took less than 2 and 1/2 days to lock up the deal!
The best part is that I paid $99.00 over INVOICE!! Airfare on Continental was $106.10... If interested...Call Trent Earlie at 1 -615-248-5100 or e-mail trente@users.ccleads.com or tlearlie@hippodromecars.com. Trent is a great guy to deal with too!!! Good Luck, Jerry

kosta157.....MSRP...$38,350.00.......INVOICE...$35,458.00 Bottom line I paid $35,557.00. The car billed out at $35,308.00 plus $249.00 equals $35,557.00 Then I had to pay sales tax & title fee in my home-town $2,390.29.....ps...Are you still going forward with the Zemblem??

I'm there with you Sluggo. I've got a LS w/BO vent seats that is always getting compliments from gas stations, convience stores and parking lots. Everybody loves the color, the dash layout, the sound of those exhaust and the top mechanics.

I like your last line in your post, kinda like my license plate.....lol

I get looks, stares, comments all over the place. Sometimes I think I am going to cause an accident by how many stares I get. I've gotten more positive comments in 7 weeks of owning this car, than I did in 4 years with my previous Audi S4, which was highly modified. I live in the Northeast. A few ZR's around, but still a rare sight.
