Talking My new yellow Z Roadster....

I finally got my Z over the weekend...
I signed up at my350z.com long time ago, but kinda lost track of things when I learned they weren't building Yellow Z at the time.

I walked into Nissan dealer with my uncle getting his Titan truck friday night and saw this thing in the show room, and just had to get it. Best part is I didn't even know they were building her, and it was a truely love at first sight ...

It's such a pretty yellow... I'm so pumped up...
Attached picture is only one I got for now... I'll post more pics when I get a chance to settle down and take more good pics.. Sorry about the bad quality on picture, I was too busy driving..

Congratulations, your baby is beautiful! That's actually one of the best pictures we've seen here with the yellow.

How much did the dealer get you on those chrome wheels?

Did they want above MSRP?

Nice Roadster.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...

MSRP on the sticker was $40,000.00 even.
Dealer added dark window tint, wheel locks, 18" chrome wheels for 2500. 1995.00 for rims and tires alone.

It was around $43000.00 when they added every thing up, but since it was exactly what I ever wanted minus Automatic tranny price really wasn't an issue. Paint is really striking, it's yellow and has gold glitter under sun light...

I'm gonna try to take better pics this afternoon. For some reason my sony DigiCam setting was changed and pics look little grainy...

Here's another pic of my two favorite galZ. g/f and wife of 11 years and new ZR... I'll post more pics tonight

You really have to give Nissan credit to take advantage of someone like that, and the customer still be happy with the purchase.

Those rims are differnt than the ones I saw in the prelease ads. The looks pretty much like chromed 18" option from the 04' Models.

Congrats on your new car. I hope you enjoy her as much as the rest of us have ours.

There's probably a good chance that the dealership swapped the chrome rims from their parts department for the ones that might have come on the car.....they probably figured the chrome wheels were the icing on the cake.

The car looks great! I really like the yellow.

Those rims weren't my first choice, but dealer would not take it off the package. Original 17"s were replaced with dealer inventory 18" chrome set.

My wife likes them and I can live with that for couple years before getting a new set. We know we didn't get the best possible deal available, but we both love the ZR and that's what counts.

Our main concern at the time was if we'll be able to find another one like it anytime soon. It was late saturday night, and we just wanted to go for a drive Who can blame us...

Yeah congrats again, I would go back to the dealer and see if they can throw in some freebies, like free oil changes and Z accessories at dealer cost. Its the least they could do since they made a ton of $ off of this and overcharged you on the tint, wheels, and wheel locks and they charged you $1995 for the wheels/tires and kept the stock 17" wheels and tires.

Never hurts to ask.

Also you had better invest in some type of front end bra, clear bra, ect. Worth every penny. Better do it now before the rock chips start happening.

Oh and BTW, ever heard of Zaino?

Awesome.

I never liked the yellow until I saw those pics. Still have not seen it in person yet. But on the roadster that color looks absolutely sick. Congrats.

Talking More pics as promised

It started raining on me, so I ended up taking pictures inside my garage. I also posted some pics from past couple of days. Fluorescent light don't do justice on yellow Z...

If you have a broadband or have patience for the long download, check out high resolution pics here. Pics starting with DSC#####.jpg are high res versions of pictures shown.

Dood, you got that at one of the Baker Jackson Dealers in Houston? Where do you live. Welcome to the club. I saw a Yellow Roadster at David McDavid on the way past there from the freewat. Welcome to the Z club. BTW - You should join the Z club of Houston.

That's the one!!!
I really wasn't looking to buy Z, but couldn't resist when I saw her. I only went there to check out my uncle's new Titan pick up truck.

Probably why I ended up paying little more than I should've. I wasn't prepared and didn't know how much others were paying for new ZR's.

I'll try to stop by next time Z club of Houston have a get together.

Nice color, I have ask the dealer about the yellow Z last week when I book in for the service, they said we are not going to get the yellow at all in Australia. Are you saying you paid USD$2k for the chrome OEM 18" rims?
