Default cold weather handling alternative transportation?

what would you do, if you had roadster had a chance to "rent" an SUV for the winter.

I work for Toyota. My commute it exact 4.2 miles each way a day [all twisties ]

Would you pay 1600 to 'rent' a 4runner Limited 4 x4 w/ Navi for the 4 winter?

Omer.

$1600 to rent for 4 winters? That's $400 per winter. With 4 months in one winter, that's $100 a month. What is holding you back? I would invest a set of winter tires for the 4runner at that price.

$1600 for this winter only.

That would b the prudent thing to do, Yeah, but the market value on used imports is SO high that it's not worth it...

Yes, the used import are not cheap, but still a better value than renting. You won't even have an expensive old import to sell at the end of the winter if you rent. Don't you get a better deal on Corollas that you work for Toyota?

I would just buy winter tires. The Z will outbrake, outaccelerate and outhandle any civic or corolla if you have winter tires.

It just depends how deep the snow is you plan to drive in.
