I know its early for the 370z scene, but I figured I would drop a line just in case anyone is working on an early boosted 370z project. For those of you not familiar with CJM... We are offer the highest end fuel system products for various cars, but the 350z/G35 has been our major focus. We are continuing the very same line for the 370z or other VHR RWD vehicles. Of course, none of the 350z products fit right into the 370z, so some of the products have been entirely redesigned from scratch, and some of them only need/needed some minor adjustments.
Heres the quick run-down, with details below.
AVAILABLE:
Walbro Fuel Pump Upgrade Installation Kit
Return Fuel Conversion Modification Kit
Feed Line Upgrade Kit
Complete Stage 0 and Stage 0.5 Return Fuel Systems (up to 500rwhp)
Billet VHR Fuel Rails
Twin Walbro Fuel Pump Assembly
ALMOST AVAILABLE
Complete Stage 1 and Stage 2 Return Fuel Systems (up to 650rwhp)
Complete Stage 3 Twin Pump Fuel System (over 1000rwhp)
The details:
Walbro Fuel Pump Upgrade Installation Kit: CJM has built an installation kit to put a Walbro GSS342 into the 370z fuel pump assembly. They are ready for sale. The 370z fuel pump assembly is entirely different than the 350z and it requires a couple small custom parts to put the pump in.
Return Fuel Conversion Modification Kit: CJM completed a Return Fuel Conversion kit that is *required* if you wish to eliminate the factory in-tank regulator and run an external regulator with return line. This kit is a must, as it is what allows you to maintain proper functioning of the venturis that transfer fuel across the tank and refill the in-tank canister. Without it, after eliminating the factory regulator, your car would starve of fuel when the needle reaches half tank. The 350z needs the same modification, but it had to be entirely redesigned for the 370z.
Feed Line Upgrade Kit: We also have a feed line upgrade kit. Really, we don't feel its going to provide much flow upgrade. It's just a nice looking little kit that puts a billet anodized adapter on the front of your rails, and a SS braided and clear coated hose that connects to the factory disconnect on the passenger side of the engine bay. Its more of a show thing, and looks cool.
Complete Stage 0 and Stage 0.5 Return Fuel Systems (up to 500rwhp): First, we have what we call a S0 (Stage 0) system. Its good for about 450-500rwhp. It uses the stock rails, but adds an external regulator, return line, and the return conversion kit. It's a full bolt on solution for those running boost on stock engines. Second, we have what we call a S0.5 system, its the S0, but includes the feed line upgrade kit mentioned above. Again, we don't feel this is going to increase flow potential much, but its inexpensive and looks really cool.
Billet VHR Fuel Rails: This one speaks for itself. Full Billet 6061 Aluminum Fuel Rails. We have tested them to fit with stock dimensioned injectors and also popular high performance injectors that are much taller. It uses -6 In/Out fittings, and will support over 1000rwhp. Includes flush mounted SS hardware.
Twin Walbro Fuel Pump Assembly: The CJM twin fuel pump assembly for the 350z has been tested, proven, and highly successful and popular. We were pleasantly surprised that only minor modifications needed to be made for it to fit the 370z. It was required to make the assembly taller, change the level sensor bracket, and change the shape of the siphon hose barb for PnP operation.
Our Stage 1,2, and 3 fuel systems are still in development, and will be ready soon enough. If you need one, we can make it happen much faster, as all we need to do is finalize the lengths on the plumbing and the shape of the SS upgraded fuel hard-pipe.
THIS SPACE IS RESERVED FOR PHOTOGRAPHS BEING PLANTED SOON.
I was hesitant to post without photographs, but I wanted to go ahead and plant the flag, and mention what is already available. I can email prototype photos to anyone who is serious about making upgrades to their 370z fuel system at this time. Otherwise, pictures will be posted after we get the new products up on the website with good quality photos.
Thanks!
