Will the 370z transmission fit in the 350z?

Wow you guys sure are douches.
The guy has an 03 which obviously had transmission issues. Since his car is an 03 he is out of warranty and is in the position to just buy a transmission rather then get it replaced under warranty.
OP, The bell-housing shape of the new transmission 0b is different from the old 00x series for the 350s. Plus you'd have to check a parts catalog to see if you need another control unit for the shift matching.
You might as well just get a CD009.
If you are dead set on getting a 370z tran you might be able to swap the bellhousing if the bolt points are all the same like you could with a KA and SR tranny.

I don't know for sure, actually, but I do know that the HR motor will not fit in a DE Z, nor will the HR headers.
Considering the fitment issues and clear differences in the hood dimensions of the DE, HR, and 370z, logic would tell me that it will not fit.

Good Luck with the swap...I wouldn't think that it would work, specfically because of the electronic programming that also coincides with the 370 (i.e. the automatic rev matching).

But there's no point. The gearing is the same damn thing. Buy a CD009 and be done with it.
