Default PCV hose delete??

Does anyone know if you can remove the pvc hoses connected from the valve cover to the intakes? Normally I wouldn't want to do this, but I broke one of the plastic pieces and cant find a replacement anywhere. I'm tempted to just stick a breather filter on the valve cover and caps on the intakes. Anyone know if this would work?

I just asked this same question in the vq35hr forum as I am looking to make a custom intake and I will save about $150 if I'm able to just put breather filters on the pcv valves. I actually got this idea because I saw some turbo kits on the 370z running that. The general consensus was that I would have no issues doing that. Just make sure you block off the opening on the intake side, and connect a breather filter on the pcv side.

Yes just drill out pvc and put breather filter and cap plenum. I just did that a couple weeks ago.

Would not be able to determine after one day.

Also, no this would not stop the oil consumption issue.

I wouldn't go ahead and say no it won't stop the issue. On the de if u put a catch can in it stops oil consumption because all it was doing was looking in the plenum. If it's the same case for the 37hr then I would assume it would help.
