Default MRC Motorsports: Presents Super Black Sexiness .. Business meets Pleasure

those of you who know me.. know that i don't post my mods.. i don't post my numbers.. and i havn't even posted in the sticky up top about who is FI.. but i believe that Julian and the crew did such a wonderful job i need to put my personal choices aside and give them the respect and recognition they deserve.

on to the numbers

500 whp/ 500 ft lb TQ @ 14 PSI (very conservative tune)

HP & Boost

HP & TQ

now i know alot of you ladies get caught up in numbers... personally i just want a quick car that is reliable..

I can't remember all my mods right now.. so i will put down what i can remember.. julian can fill in what i forget

Mods:

Greddy TT
GTM Stage 2 Shortblock with Arias ED Pistons
GTM Stage 1 Heads
GTM Turbo Cams
Greddy EVO TT
HKS FCon VPro
HKS EVC V BoostController
HKS KnockAmp
CJM Stage 1 (charles.. i am waiting on you )
Defi Boost, EGT, FP Gauges

Now let me say... i drove 400 whp with a UTEC and never blew my motor.. but after driving with the VPro.. i am a true believer when people say its so much smoother.. its amazing.. its so smooth the car doesn't feel as fast as it did with 400whp because the UTEC was so abrupt... it was great, but fails to compare with the VPro.

Thanks again Julian and the crew... i know i am forgetting stuff.. but i will post if i remember.. brain is kinda fried right now.

very very nizzzzzzeee... congrats...

just out of curiosity, are the numbers corrected or uncorrected DD numbers? not asking to start anything, (kinda sad i have to state such...but, everything here is now perceived as rivalry) i'm just asking because i know julian posts up both...

Congrtas on the build Doug. That is a perfect amount of power for the street. Nicely done MRC. +1 on Stormcrow's Q, Id assume those are uncorrected numbers....

Those numbers are corrected to simulate the local dyno jet..Our correction has proved to be within 8whp at the 500hp level...The boost on the dyno was barely 14psi for the most of the run...Once we get the CJM Stage 3 we can retune for more boost without going lean..Also the ambient air temp was 101 degrees and 41% humidity the day of the dyno...

Good stuff, impressive numbers regardless of correction.

its a little loud.. i have to get used to it coming from a stock exhaust.. i mean before my car was so quiet.. cruising.. boosting.. you could never hear it.. it takes getting used to.. the drone is driving me nuts though.. it sounds better at WOT.. but crusing around town its loud.. i couldn't imagine what the APS 3" would sound like if this is one of the quieter exhaust
