Default Polyester Microfiber Towels?

I just got some microfiber towels from walmart (I know, i shouldnt have) and i found out that they were polyester. Are they safe to use on my paint? Im guessing not, but just wanted other peoples input. Thanks!

Could find yourself with a lot of "swirl" marks. Go look at dftowel.com. A little costly, but you will be happy with the results.

I would not use walmart quality micro fiber towels myself, but I am particular. They may be fine, they might not. Not all micro fibers are cut out for automotive uses. I prefer the all natural fiber micro fiber towel myself, the www.dftowel.com I was so impressed with it I have added it to my list of products that I sell to my Zaino customers... (or anyone else)

I wouldnt use the Wally world ones on the finish. They are great for interior, door jambs, ect..... This site has some great microfibers at great prices:

microfibertech.com

I have used their "elite" micro for polishing and buffing. Good luck. Later.

I use a 100% cotton applicator or foam pad applicator. I havent used a micorfiber one yet, but plan too. Later.

Check out Pakshak.com krnlikewh0a. They ship for free to both the US and Canada and are a great price. Great Microfiber towels!

dftowel.com has a "small" 3 x 3 that I use for applying Zaino Polish (Z5 & Z2). They tell me that they have a "new" applicator, made of same material as their towels, that will be available "soon". Apparently, based on what Leo says" you can remove the sponge and wash.

Be leary of any major department store selling MF towels that will be used on paint. They run the gamut from great to total trash.
The Dftowels are excellent as well as any 80/20(Polyester/Polyamide) to 70/30 mix towel made in Korea.
I carry a Japanese 75/25 MF towel, it feels very soft, but causes swirls. Great for glass and the interior, wouldn't touch my paint with it.
