Don't forget a wideband. I would also go with deatschwerks injectors over RC. I would also go with 440 injectors. Get a thermostat sandwhich adapter for your oil cooler.

If you're staying at the 6.8 psi the kit comes with, fuel pump, fuel return, and injectors are not needed. I have just the straight JWT 530 kit with NO other supporting mods besides boost, wideband A/F, and coolant temp gauges and it couldn't be more perfect (10K+ miles so far). Unless you plan on turning up the boost and doing internals in the future, I'd say most of that stuff isn't really required or needed at all.

- JWT 530BB Twin Turbo Kit
- Cosworth Intake Plenum (Pre-ordered already)
- JWT Clutch/Flywheel Combo
- CJ Motorsports Fuel Return Kit
- RC 550cc Injectors w/ clips
- Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
- Defi 60mm BF Series Gauges: Boost Gauge, Oil Temp Gauge &, Defi-Link Control Unit
- CF A-Piller Dual Pod Set
- TXS DTEC Map Sensor
- Perrin Boost Solenoid
- Cusco Oil Catch Can
- Stillen Oil Cooler

550cc injectors are going to be overkill. i had to scale down my 440cc the walbro isnt going to be needed unless your going to up your boost past about 9lbs. the 190lph that comes with the jwt kit isnt that bad. if it were me i would go with the Turboxs bcs and use it with your utec to make map switching a 1 button process unless the utec will controll the perrin bcs? i would add a water temp gauge as well.

just me thinking outloud.

As mentioned I have the TXS Tuner Wideband. What is a thermostat sandwhich adapter for the oil cooler?

Rather than run oil through the oil cooler all the time the thermostatically controlled sandwhich adapter opens when the oil reaches a certain point. This has many advantages...

Agree.

The fuel pump and FMU that comes with the kit is sufficient for 6.8psi of boost. I also had a clutch, EGT, and boost gauges installed at the same time as the turbo kit. This has been working perfectly for the last 15,000 miles of hard driving. I will recommend that you have test pipes installed at the same time as this will help lower your EGT. That's it.

So if I plan on running 9lbs of boost I should pass on:

- CJ Motorsports Fuel Return Kit
- RC 550cc Injectors w/ clips
- Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump

I'd recommend:

440cc injectors using the tt kit's fuel pump and fmu.
Water temp & fuel pressure sensors and Defi Display to display oil/water temps and give audible for fp problems.
Skip oil temp gauge and replace w/ wideband.
Oil cooler w/ t-stat adapter is needed.

Of course these are just my biased opinions as it's what I'm running.

Oh, any recommendations for a turbo timer? I had a Blitz on my old Evo 8 and like it. Is there a DIY wiring diagram for installing a turbo timer for the 350Z?

I know the mods weren't needed but I did it because I knew I wold be bilding my engine soon. The car actually ran better with the out of the box jwt kit. Part of the problem is I have no knock amp either. Think these are all the mods

-AAM oil Pan Spacer with Oil Return Line Kit
-HKS F-Con Vpro
-HKS SSQVblow off
-AAM fuel return system
--680cc hks low impedence injectors
--AAM plenum spacer
-APS 3" dual exhaust
-Test pipes
-IMR Grounding kit
-Blitz FatDCIII Turbo Timer

check out my othere posts for pics n vids

Canadain is right.

To the OP.... At your moderate goals, your mod list might be overkill. We have done A TON of out of the box JWT 530 BB kits on stock (or low) boost on stock motors. The only thing realy needed for your goals is possibly gauges, if you want them. Save your money or use it on another aspect of your car.

From the sound of it I should go with the following;

- JWT 530BB Twin Turbo Kit
- Cosworth Intake Plenum (Pre-ordered already)
- JWT Clutch/Flywheel Combo (Ordering Friday)
- Defi 60mm BF Series Gauges: Boost Gauge, Oil Temp Gauge &, Defi-Link Control Unit
- CF A-Piller Dual Pod Set
- TXS DTEC Map Sensor
- Perrin Boost Solenoid
- Cusco Oil Catch Can
- Stillen Oil Cooler w/ Thermostat Sandwhich Adapter

Not a bad compilation of parts you have there, you should be just fine.
