Id be surprised if it was 15k.
Should be around 3-4k unless you completely fckd up your frame and suspension. I mean the suspension looks pretty bad, but not 15k bad.

can you take some underside pictures? and pics of ends/links/a-arms/and every other mechanical part that you can see?

i can't get any pics right now. It's sitting in the shop... They were going to jack it up and take a look. The guy suggested 15k after first looking at it so i'm thinking they're going to try to scam me. I took it to the place that the local nissan dealer goes through. you can see around the headlight that the front bumper isn't flush with the headlight anymore... possibly suggesting some frame damage??? Even if the frame was bent and assuming the suspension is screwed 15k seems really high. thanks for all the comments guys.

The rear axle looks a little bent.

I feel you man. I had a similar thing happen to me, but i drifted into a ditch going about...50 mph. they said the axle came out, and the camber arm thing broke. they first guessed 1200, but now they're coming at me with 2200.

I had a head-on hit with a sidewalk at 30 MPH... In the end cost me over $2,500 of damage. Had to replace the front left lower control arm, tie rod, cross member, wheel and tire(s). I should replace all the wheels on my car because they all have a little damage. Plus the plastic undertray andwheel well liner got torn up. No body damage for me though...

Sh*t happens... it really sucks. I bet you wont make that mistake again though, I certainly wont!

I did the exact same thing in my Z. Cost to repair mine was about $6000, I just made an insurance claim and called it a day. Dinged my insurance pretty bad because i was like 20 at the time. Sorry to hear man, I know the feeling.

Yea, what happened to that 19 year old schmuck? Oops, I wouldn't want to start an "age" thread again!

By the way, why would you just whip it around and *not* just go to an intersection, make a turn, then come around?

Seems a lot cheaper to do that *than* what you did!

Hmmm, are you a bit bibulous? Just asking since you may need a good lawyer!!

got a call back from the shop... he told me $11,850 all in. That's for all new parts and 2 new stock wheels at about $1200 a piece and 4 new tires at $500 a piece. Obviously I'm not getting new stock rims for that price. Any suggestions on decent tires that are cheaper than that?

I suggest you find a new shop. Nissan certified repairs charged me.. my insurance... i believe 800 for stock 18" wheels.
Falken fk 452s - a lot cheaper.
A lot of tires a lot cheaper than 500 a piece... they better be offering you some high quality tires.

+1. That is crazy. I'd be tempted to sell the car as is and buy something else before I paid that much.
