Where to buy Low Profile Hydraulic Jack
Where to buy Low Profile hydraulic jacks? I've checked my local Kragen/Checkers, Autozone and Pepboys. Only one I found was by Pepboys and it comes with all this other stuff that I dont need (stands, mat, etc). Other than ebay, any low profile jacks that are recommendable?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Its low profile and has the swivel handle, which makes it perfect for my small 1-car garage. I completely forgot that Sears sells garage tools. I'll check them out too.
Thanks!
Harbor Freight? Keep in mind most of us don't need a super high quality jack - not like we are running a Nascar pit crew or something. And always remember, jackstands! Don't trust any jack to hold!

Forgot about Harbor Freight. There's another thread floating around that has some good deals from them. Can't find it though.
I chose the aluminum becuase it's very light and easy to move/transport. Also, consider how long you want it to last. You get what you pay for.

+1 million!! Had a fire fighter around here who used a cheap jack...it dropped on him causing something on the car to cover his throat and kill him.
I got this on sale from them (2 years ago) for $69. They have a dual-cylinder model (less pumping) for $149 till 10/12. If you watch their sales you can get a great deal.

. How long have you had it now? Any issues?
I've owned it since Christmas 2008. I've only used it twice though. It works really well. Used it to change my tire on my Nissan Frontier. Worked like a charm. It's extremely light too! I love the fact that I can manuver it around the garage without breaking my back. I also have the red rubber pad that goes with it, to avoid damaging the undercarriage of the car. This works really well!
I bought mine at Costco. It's low, light, and cheap: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...=1&topnav=&s=1
