Well it seems to be biased to either extreme west coast or extreme east coast. Since Im in FL, SEMA and any other west coast shows are out for me. Id be willing to drive to Texas or go north to NC or so. Driving over 1000 miles to a show one way is a long drive.

Aw c'mon shift, this thread is a question of your Z-mania! Since I got my Z33, I have driven it to all the annual Z Cons, so from Texas, I've taken my baby to New Hampshire, SoCal, Syracuse NY, Irving Texas (okay, that's just a hop and skip from here... ), and in four weeks, down to Daytona Beach. I already plan on next year in Cleveland OH, and who knows after that?!
Life is short, enjoy the ride!

This sounds like a great idea, everyone seems to agree with that. As all the posts have shown, the location will be the problem since everyone will want it close to them for obvious reasons.

It seems to me the best suggestions are to have it with ZCON every year since that does move around and would give people a chance to participate when it is close to them OR have it in the heart of the country central to everyone so the travel distance is equal for all.

A number of people mentioned SEMA and while I don't know a lot about this isn't it just for business and not something open to the general public? That would not seem like the right place to have something like this if that is so.

well like i said a central point would give everyone a chance to attend then it really would be an "annual national event" meaning one big event, or do the 3 events one in cali, florida, n texas. But then its more like regional event, either way ill support n attend either choice! have yet to attend first major Z event

if my z is up here id say something central. would be best because west and east would come. if you keep it towards one side of the map your turnout is gonna be less than it could be. somewhere central and im in

I agree!! The Z was made for driving....espcially in a long caravan (was called a convoy back in the day huh) and all types of people chatting with you at the gas stations...kids waving!! It's a great feeling.
