Seoul FTW!
Nope, wasn't my Evo. My wife hasn't even shipped mine yet. I'm still looking for a private company to ship it since she wants to ship both our cars and the gov't only pays for one to be shipped.
We don't get nearly as much fight training as we should. Granted, it's really dependent on your unit (combat units will do more than supports units and such). We usually train on things such as rifles and knives. I personally think we should be doing MMA (army trains on GRW, boxing, and BJJ) for PT like 3 times a week.

This forum kinda, um... died.
LMAO... drift in an Evo? Brilliant idea. I've auto-x'd for 3 years straight while in Hawaii. Been denied a drag strip during that time except for once (had to ship car to Maui). Need to run at the strip... auto-x doesn't tell me how fast or quick my hard work is.
Anyone go to the SAAS this past weekend?

Well glad to see this forum is still up... somewhat. I'm not sure exactly where the drag strip is but I did see one while I was stationed there. Ask one of those ROK soldiers where it's at... they were a big help while I was there. Only problem is finding one that was into cars...
I will be headed to SK (Seoul area) in late sept, looking forward to exploring the new area. I would love to learn as much as i can about the auto/import/race culture in SK before i arrive, I have read/looking through the 30 plus pages and am happy to see there is some good stuff going on. It looks like super drift is one of the heavy hitters in SK, are there any other companies out there that get involved with our market? Also i didn't catch the name of that track can someone let me know?
looking forward to meeting some new faces!

hahahah, these girls are like little barbie dolls.... Welcome to Korea.....
I'm still in Camp Humphreys. Just got back from a trip to Jeju-do. We've got a long weekend coming up, try and make your way to a beach, Busan maybe, before it's too late. Once it starts getting cold, you will regret it.... lol I hate winter here.....

It appears it would be safe to say most everyone on here in SK is military correct?

Can't speak for everyone, but I'm in the Army..... I'll be here until February. I can't wait to get back home and in the driver seat of my Z again. About to order a new hood, front bumper, and a few smaller things for it right now.....
Yup, I'll be gone in Oct... unfortunately, that's NEXT Oct ('11).
that sucks dude. I'll lose money when I leave Korea, pretty much the same situation. Reduction in BAH, no hazard pay, no 300 extra a month for extending, no cola,, etc...
