Yeah, sound equipment rocks, but $3700? I'd buy engine mods... such as headers, exhaust, intake, ECU reflash, suspension.

I'm not planning on doing any performance mods in the time being...maybe later down the road. Plus I'm a real gadget person...so a stereo with a flip out touch screen is right up my alley! :-)

I was gonna do something like that but since I have the roadster it would take up the whole trunk...My car is going in on the 29th and coming back the 30th. I'll post pics of the completed project. It should look pretty good.

BTW...what's that big thing on your steering column behind the wheel? It looks like a tv remote?

Like I said, the HU is next on my list but the sound quality with what I've done so far is outstanding. I only replaced the front speakers. The only thing I would consider is a more powerful amp than the 1 I installed or a seperate Sub amp. I may be under powering those Focal's a bit. I'm not going to decide on a bigger amp until after I replace the HU.

Thats the remote for the touch screen Nav. It will also control the HU I'm putting in. I find I don't use it much so I'll probably remove it. Oh, it's actually mounted on the steering wheel.

yea, It's actually on the steering wheel not the column. It's only about 2 1/2 inches long but I'm not liking it much either.
