Question Kenwood DDX7015 and Stock Nav?

I was thinking of getting this head unit but I would want to keep my stock navigation system...is that possible? Also, is it possible to keep the stock bose speakers or would those have to be replaced? Sorry if this has been covered, I did a search but couldn't find what i'm looking for...

yes you can. DDX7015 doesn't come with nav. You have to buy the nav module. Another grand. So you can install new HU, it has nothing to do with your stock nav.

You can keep all of your stock bose system if you want. However, if you want better sound then replace all of them since you can't mix Bose with something else.

Search again... this has been covered a number of times. Try using "Kenwood" and "relay" as the keywords

You can use the DDX7015 with the factory NAV and its better than having the Kenwood NAV because you can have something else on your DDX7015 screen without having to bring the NAV screen up. In order to do this, you must fashion a special relay. It's detailed in one of the other threads and costs about $20 for the parts to make the relay.

I'm sure you could work out some way to keep the factory Bose speakers, but why would you want to if you're upgrading everything else???
