Default Compustar almost installed

Ok for those with Compustars. I have all functions of my alarm working with the exception of the remote start. I know I need to bypass the clutch switch but not really sure how. Anyone ever done this? If so can you please describe.

Well I figured it out. I had to put positive trigger from starter to positive side of switch. That was it.

I would like to but it is soooooooo involved and I probably would not cover everything. I am willing to help anyone out that runs into problems. My alarm not only remote starts my 6spd manual but opens trunk, fuel door and I installed a proximity sensor so it protects the perimeter of the car. Really cool but I am not so sure I would attempt again. It took me two straight days to install. I have about 18 hours of work into it. I still need to figure out the auto windows module so I can roll windows up and down with the alarm remote.

I'd like to know more about how you got the fuel door install and the proximity sensor. I have the same alarm except the 2wfm version no remote start. where in ca you located?

Fuel door is simple just take Aux output and connect it to fuel door switch on the dash. (Blue/Red wire) When you hit Aux button fuel door opens. The proximity sensor is easy as well. Connector 8 on Compustar hooks to warn away and trigger wires of sensor. Sensor has to be hooked up to 12v and ground. Thats it. Adjust for sensitivity. Mine is set so if you are standing, walking by or looking in my windows it gives you the Warn away chirps. If the windows are down and you pass anything into the windows the alarm will trigger. I placed the sensor under the center console next to the Emergy Brake. Hope this helps.
