alright...I am getting a box for under the brace in the back. Now the box is .75 cubic ft. I can put roughly a pound of polyfil to increase volume to 1.75. Anyone recommend any 10 inch subwoofer, with a mounting depth of no greater than 6.5 inches?

 

What amp will you use to power the sub? Watts/channel?

What do you want from the sub,,,,SPL, SQ, SQL?

How much do you want to spend?

 

no more than 200 each. SQ. 2 Channel in 2 ohm putting out 900 RMS.

 

Diamond audio makes some good 10".
I just got a thin mount Diamond sub. Not installed yet but I've heard good things about it online.

 

Lots of good choices for you needs.....

For SQ, you can easily get by with a single 10" sub. Might want to consider the following:

RE SE 10
CDT Audio HD 1020
Adire Audio Koda 10

This is just a few examples of good SQ subs which you might consider. The Koda 10 is a Single Voice Coil Sub at 4 ohms, so it might not be the best match to the 2 channel amp you have.

The others are DVC and you could run each voice coil with it's own amp channel which will typically give superior results versus bridging the amplifier.

Alot of other good choices out there. Did you buy Mike's box off of eBay? I did and with a single Koda 10 and stuffing the box with "polyfill" it really sounds nice.
