I am planning a pretty elaborate system and need a good installer recommended. It is not the type of thing that can be done at the local Circuit City - looking at an In Car PC and some custom speaker installations. Any recommendations? Good experiences to share? I would be willing to listen to referrals in Los Angeles as well if I have to travel there I will, I am there a lot anyway.

I know this is the wrong topic section, but I am also looking for a recommendation for an installer at a mechanic shop that can do headers, exhaust, suspension work, etc. as well, in the same general area of Phoenix.

My friend knows the owner and he built a sub box for me. He is a good guy. Good work too.

 

I've heard good things about Soundwerks. There is one on Scottsdale road and one in Phoenix on Bell road. They do magazine type installs. I got a stereo put in there a while back, but no custom stuff. I would go there again.

Also, in the Tempe area, check out Sounds Good to Me on Broadway/Mill. This is where I go now for installs. Last time I was there they had a Farrari torn apart putting in a killer stereo system.
They have been there for years and know their stuff.
