I have an Escort Solo CORDLESS model RD-5110 that I got from Best Buy for about $180. It runs off two AA batteries. I get batteries for free, but you could use rechargeable ones. It is much easier than hard wiring and looks better than running a power adapter across the middle of the car. Had it for over a year now.

I have the Ecsort SOLO S2 and I have it mounted to a custom mount made by a 350zmotoring member. The mount is mounted to my rearview mirror. It is then hardwired into my rearview mirror wiring. Not too hard at all.

Hey Zach,
Do you like your SOLO S2? I was thinking about getting one but before I do, I just wanted to make sure it was worth it?

Thanks,

Yeah, I love it. I havent gotten pulled over yet with it. It does actually detect laser as it says. The only thing I dont like is the fact that the display doesnt light up very bright, its hard to see during the day. If you do decide to get one, get it off ebay. I paid around $275 for mine.
