Default Any pics from CES: Eclipse, Kenwood, or Alpine?

Please post 'em if you got 'em!

I had seen a photo of Eclipse's new AVN 5495 opened, and their

single din AVN unit ( like Alpine's in Europe--map on the screen--no flip out) I forgot the model #. Both look bad ***!

If anyone makes it over to the Eclipse booth, I'd appreciate it if you can find out what the MSRP for the AVN5495 will be. I plan on purchasing that unit. Thanks!

Here's a press release about the AVN5495 and AVN5435 (which I've never heard of)...

i've surfing internet to find avn 5495 pics.
i found 2. one closed with keyboard on the screen and face opend so it shows 1 disc slot, harddrive, and memorystick slot but i was unavailable to attach picture here.
if anyone can host my pictures (those are small each are smaller than 90k each), i will email tonight.

and the releasing date on those are april in japan so it will be releasing in the state mid or later this year i'm guessing.

geez...do a damn search..google will even translate the information in Japanese to English...

AVN5495 available April, 2005

MSRP: Not Yet Available. Speaking with one of their reps at SEMA in Novemeber, he mentioned the MSRP for the AVN5495 will be BELOW the AVN2454 ($2300). This generation of Eclipse is out to compete with Pioneer's new unit AVIC-N1/N2. I don't have any reason not to believe him since everything he told me about the AVN5495 is coming true.

Specs-

-30 GB HD (10 GB for Navigation, 20 GB for music. Records same way as the current AVX2494 does)
-6.5 in screen at resolution of 280,800 (400x234x3)
-single media slot for CD/CDR/RW/DVD
-new Circle Surround Technology to simulate 5.1 channel with just four speakers
-memory stock slot for security (possibly other uses?)
-5V pre-out (YES!!!!!!!!)
-volume control on left hand side

I feel sorry for all those who compromised and went with the AVN2454 or AVX2494. You had to know Eclipse would offer something better. And now they have, the AVN5495, the best of both worlds.

The only downsides I see and improvements for the near future is a 7" screen with higher resolution. Then again, need room for the controls

Good luck in your search. I got hook-ups at Fujitsu

Here's a press release written in Japanese. It shows the unit opened and closed. Also, when I did a Babel Fish translation, the article mentions that Eclipse was able to keep the price down to $1900! I hope that's correct! I know where my tax refund will be spent!

Here's some info. from the Eclipse Japan website. It mentions that they hope to sell 1000 units per month in the US and that they will begin selling the unit in April (I believe that this is a US release date).
