I've got a couple questions I hope someone can answer.

Background:
Got a Kenwood ddx-7015, and I'm about to install it. (Dash is out and in my kitchen, new HU is in place, waiting to be wired) This is going in my 04 Coupe, Non-Bose system

1) Is the american international kit good to go? Any wiring differences i should know about, or are they properly labeled?

2) I used http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/dash_removal/ as a reference for removing the stereo, And all went according to plan, except that there was an extra (3rd) little harness coming out of my stock head unit. The AI kit doesn't have a connector for this, and it doesn't seem like any of the wiring for the new unit needs to hook into there. What's it for and do i need it?
