Default Pioneer AVIC-N1 in the stock Nav place??

Hi, I'd like to intergrate the Pio AVIC N1 with the stock Bose system. I'll use the CD changer, radio features of the Bose system and the DVD, MP3 and GPS of the Pio unit. Can it be installed in where the stock Nav system is, so when I close the lid, no one knows I have an aftermarket nav. . TYhank you.

That would be very hard to do. The screen would probably hit the door when it comes out and up. You could try installing a xenarc screen in the cubby and putting a head unit in the cd changer pockets behind the seats. Maybe an in car PC? You could have a really good system that would be very stealth. You could even use a small IR repeater to control the headunit behind the seat.
